ISO 9001

Quality Policy

SCANCON Encoders’ objective is to be the preferred choice and a reliable, long-term partner for customers with high demands for encoder solutions
within selected product and application areas. 

To achieve this objective, we commit to:

  • Working closely with our customers to understand, translate, and exceed their requirements and expectations.
  • Developing and delivering innovative solutions based on planned, robust, and efficient processes that ensure quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Applying risk management as a fundamental principle in planning, development, production, and operations - with particular focus on the requirements applicable to Ex-certified products.
  • Setting the same high standards for our suppliers and partners as we set for ourselves, thereby ensuring a strong and stable supply chain.
  • Measuring our performance, setting ambitious quality objectives, and actively using data to maintain and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and certification requirements, including specific requirements for Ex-products.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving a documented quality management system that creates value for the company, our customers, and other stakeholders.

Management ensures that the quality policy is communicated, understood, and applied by all employees, and that it is regularly reviewed and updated to continuously support the company’s strategy and future development.

 

ISO 14001

Environmental Policy

SCANCON Encoders is certified according to ISO 14001, and we work purposefully and systematically to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to sustainable development. The Environmental policy is an integrated part of the management system and provides the framework for setting and monitoring our environmental objectives.

We are committed to:

  • Preventing and reducing environmental impacts

We identify, monitor and reduce the most significant environmental impacts arising from our processes, products and activities. This includes substituting harmful substances, ensuring the safe handling and disposal of waste, and developing products with the lowest possible environmental footprint – without compromising on quality or safety.

  • Driving continuous improvement

We continuously enhance our environmental performance by improving processes, technologies and working methods. Measurable environmental objectives are established, tracked and reviewed to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring compliance and accountability

We comply with applicable legislation, customer requirements, and other obligations, and maintain documented control of environmental impacts throughout our value chain.

  • Promoting sustainability and responsible use of resources

We use resources efficiently, minimize waste, and actively promote reuse and recycling. Environmental considerations are integrated at the earliest stages of product and solution development.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

SCANCON Encoders is certified according to ISO 45001 and is dedicated to working systematically and proactively to create a safe, healthy and supportive work environment. Our Occupational Health and Safety policy is an integral part of the company's management system and is aligned with our activities, risks and opportunities.

We are committed to:

  • Promoting well-being and development

We foster employee well-being by ensuring that both the physical and psychological work environment supports a healthy, safe and productive workplace. We prioritize professional and personal development as key drivers of engagement, motivation and job satisfaction.

  • Preventing risks and managing hazards

We identify, assess and manage the most significant risks in our operations. Our focus is on eliminating or reducing hazards and risks to ensure that employees always work under safe and responsible conditions.

  • Engaging employees

We actively involve employees in shaping the work environment through open dialogue, risk reporting and improvement initiatives. We provide resources to the Occupational Health and Safety Organisation (AMO) and raise awareness of its role across the company.

  • Ensuring compliance and driving improvement

We comply with all applicable legal requirements and other obligations we have undertaken. Through monitoring, analyzing incidents, and addressing deviations, we continuously improve our practices to strengthen safety, efficiency and compliance.
